Internet Solutions Firm Expands Healthcare Business

American Web Services acquires hosting division of Enterprise Software Solutions Group

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Jan. 1, 2007 – American Web Services, Inc., a developer of Internet business solutions, has acquired the hosting division of Enterprise Software Solutions Group, an IT and systems integration provider. The acquisition strengthens American Web Services position in the healthcare industry with new clients such as Blue Shield of California, California Hospital Association, and the Association of California Nurse Leaders.

"American Web Services was a logical choice for our clients," said Bill McSwain, President of Enterprise Software Solutions Group. "They have the experience to take over the technology, servers and software and make it all run smoothly." ESS is a licensed supplier of IBM servers and is providing a complete hosting infrastructure to American Web Services.

"The new staff and software enhances the depth of our political and association offerings," said Ed Williams, Chief Technology Officer of American Web Services. Clients using these systems include Dry Creek Rancheria of Pomo Indians, Insurance Brokers Association West, California Labor Federation and the CANOW.
