Stock photography web site passes 1 billion hits

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Feb. 17, 2003 – What do you do with a catalog of 800,000 photographs? San Francisco photographer Verner Krutein thought the web would be a great way to show it to the world. Mr. Krutein’s company, PhotoVault, recently launched an updated web site on American Web Services managed hosting platform.

Given that the web site receives millions of visits a month, it was essential that the hosting platform deliver.
